Freedom Hall makes every effort to accommodate patrons with special needs when possible. Patrons may visit the Box Office or call (423)461-4884 Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for more information regarding special seating and other accommodations.
Freedom Hall Civic Center provides accessible parking in Parking Lot A and Parking Lot B, the areas closest to the Civic Center. Tennessee Code Annotated requires that the person to whom the plate or hang tag is issued be present in order to legally utilize the accessible parking spaces.
Freedom Hall Civic Center is committed to providing equal accessibility to our guests. Designated seating is available for guests with disabilities for all events at the facility. The seating location may vary due to production limitations, seating configurations, or fire regulations.
Accessible seating is limited and will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. These tickets will be sold at the prevailing price as regular seats located in the same proximity. Patrons requiring accessible seating should notify the Box Office when purchasing tickets.
Due to space limitations, guests who require seating in the designated sections are allowed to buy a ticket for themselves and three companion tickets. For guests whose parties include more than four people, the Box Office will make every attempt to seat the additional members of the party as close as possible to the disabled seating area. For general admission events, disabled patrons will be allowed to enter the facility with an escort approximately 5-10 minutes prior to the doors opening for the public.
Visually impaired patrons should contact the Box Office to check on the availability of special seating. A block of seating consisting of ten (10) seats is reserved for patrons who are visually impaired. This seating is reserved until ten (10) business days prior to the show, at which time, if no patrons have purchased these tickets, the tickets will be released and sold to the general public.

Headsets may be obtained upon request at the Box Office the day of the event prior to the start of the performance. An acceptable form of identification (driver's license, social security card, credit card, etc.) will be held as a security deposit. Upon the conclusion of the event, guests will need to return the ALD to the Box Office, located at section 24 in the outer hallway, and their identification will be returned to them at that time.
A block of seating consisting of twenty (20) seats is reserved for patrons who are deaf or hearing impaired. This seating is reserved until ten (10) business days prior to the show, at which time, if no patrons have purchased these tickets or requested an interpreter, the tickets will be released and sold to the general public.>/p>
Freedom Hall Civic Center will provide professional interpreters for events in which requests have been made pursuant to the following procedures:
Individuals needing interpreters should visit or call the Box Office to make the necessary arrangements when purchasing tickets. Requests for an interpreter must be made at least ten (10) business days in advance of the event date to allow all scripts, music sheets, or other pertinent information to be forwarded to the interpreters for the purpose of practicing the show materials.
In the event that a show runs for more than one day, an interpreter will be provided for only one performance. If possible, the designated date will be on the weekend. For example, if a show runs from Wednesday through Sunday, the interpreted show would probably be scheduled for a Friday or Saturday performance.
Freedom Hall Civic Center has designated seating sections for guests who require the use of mobility devices (wheelchairs/scooters), have problems that preclude them from climbing steps, or other mobility issues. These tickets may be purchased by phone or at the Box Office.
