My Little Valentine Daddy Daughter Dance adds Sensory Sensitive Hour

Memorial Park Community Center (MPCC), 510 Bert St., will host the inaugural Sensory Sensitive Hour for families with special needs on Saturday, Feb. 3 prior to the 2018 My Little Valentine Daddy Daughter Dance.

Sensory Sensitive Hour offers a subdued environment for dancing to low-volume music by a live DJ in a low-light setting from 5-6 p.m. Light refreshments will be available along with an opportunity to create a craft keepsake.

Afterward, the Daddy Daughter Dance (open to dads, grandfathers, guardians and daughters) will kick off with increased volume and light intensity between 6-8 p.m.

Registration for both events is required and is $10 per person through Jan. 26; $20 per person Jan. 27-Feb. 2 (Children 3 and under free). Register online at or in person at MPCC. Photos will be available and vouchers may be purchased for $15 online or at MPCC prior to the event. Tickets will not be available at the door for either event.
