Senior Services offers health-related programs for December

Senior Services at Memorial Park Community Center, 510 Bert St., will provide the following discussions for those 18 and older.

  • Shoulder Pain: 11 a.m.-noon, Tuesday, Dec. 4. Dr. Larry Waldrop II will talk about common shoulder conditions and treatments that can help reduce pain and restore function. 
  • Live to 100: 10:30-11:30 a.m., Monday, Dec. 10. Tim Dunne, a doctor of chiropractic, will talk about how to get and stay healthy.
  • Healthy Eating for the Holidays and Beyond: 11 a.m.-noon, Tuesday, Dec. 11. It can be difficult to maintain a healthy diet during this time of year. Dietician Crystal Woods will share some fresh ideas and tasty recipes for healthier choices this season and into the new year.
